Re: Cart Runs Slow
It has always been slow. I purchased it in December. The a battery bank voltage is what I posted after charging all night. I just replaced all the batteries last week and then posted the voltage. The connectors all look fine but I will look again.
When you say the voltage is low I wonder how a 48v battery setup is supposed to have over 48v. Am I misunderstanding? Thanks! |

Re: Cart Runs Slow
The great thing about a 48 volt bank is you can remember this crude approximation:
51v 100% 50.5v 90% 50v 80% 49.5v 70% 49v 60% 48.5v 50% 50% is considered dead. |

Re: Cart Runs Slow
it sounds like you should do some reading on battery care and maintenance. go to Scotty b's website cartsunlimited.net. you can read about battery care and maintenance as well as break in. it sounds like maybe your charger is not charging your battery fully.

Re: Cart Runs Slow
So I was reading the battery voltage. When I put the Voltmeter to the charge port I show 52v standing still. 49.7 when I depress the throttle 100% then comes back to 49.5v. I have AGM batteries and so I don't think I need to do anything to them. I have been breaking them in.

Re: Cart Runs Slow
Standing still voltage doesn't mean much, unless it was taken at least 12 after charge completion OR driven a short distance, then allowed to recover a few minutes. 52 is too high, and 49.5 is too low.
Likely no problem, but a problem in time of measurements. |

Re: Cart Runs Slow
Drops to 47.9 momentary when the pedal is depressed then comes back up. Sorry I apparently can't read.

We all typo, and spell checker can sometimes take a correct word and make it wrong.
