Re: dump bed
Some U-Max models had a power dump bed. Built on the same frame design. You could go to yamahas website and check out the parts used to get some ideas.

Re: dump bed
I did on my G9 it was not hard, used 1x1 tubing and put a bar across the seat upprights which you may have to do differently. Then one at bottom of bagwell above the frame and bolted it. Built uprights on that bar then over to the seat bar. Made a pivot for the box. Made a frame for the box was 30x40, put alum sheet over it. I used 2x8 cedar for the sides but it is kinda heavy. Could have bought an alum box for 50 couple years ago kick myself for not grabbing it and mounting it on there. I welded some sheet angles on the back corners to attach the sides and a slide in gate.

Re: dump bed
That's a nice bed. Wish I could find one like that for $30.
Some of the UTVs come with a power dump. That could be another option to check pricing. You can try Surplus Center and look for "linear actuators". Here is one place I found for Aftermarket: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/produ...-kit?a=1550241 |
