Re: G8 chasis rust
Found out that my cart is a G14 (JN3) not G8....ahhhh. So with that
TheCurti has a G8 frame that he let me know I can transfer my upper over to......woohoo. Thanks guys for the help and all the GREAT info, a Yamaha shall live again, Lol. He did say that the front in will need to be switched to and said that smallblock450 would know, so 450, is that right? |

Re: G8 chasis rust
Your G14 body will easilly adapt to the G8 frame. But if your going to tear down yours to bare frame anyway, why not wait to see just how bad your 14 frame actually is? Might be easy to repair at that time, barring that its not bent!!

Re: G8 chasis rust
Mike Mac I agree, I can see underneath and around the pedals that the frame has TOTALLY rusted through. When I sit onit to drive it actually cases the frame to shift and the front tire to rub. And NO I am 6'5 275 so the weight should not be that much of an issue for you jokers.....lol. TheCurti has a frame and is looking out for me on the price. So I am going to strip it down, replace some parts and start with a new improved model. But I can say that I may just fix the G14 frame you may never know have twocarts for 4 kids and the peace that might bring, heck I might even get to drive one.....lol.
