![]() Just want to say hello, I enjoy the forums and have helped me a lot. I have been thinking of lightning the weights in my primary. I have the stock primary, and was wanting to increase the RPM at which it starts engagement. I just replaced the spider with new rollers and was wondering what your thoughts were about taking 2-5 grams off each weight. I have a accurate gram scale so balance shouldn't be an issue. -Jason

![]() I already have the stronger driven spring installed, along with the spacer. I was just thinking it might be better to bring the clutch in when the engine is revved a little higher and making more torque.

![]() this is kinda why I was askin about this clutch in the another thread...http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-y...xperience.html
It's for a comet clutch that's adjustable and will let the engine rev a bit befor the clutch engages. I know it's not a modification to your existing one, but it might be an alternative? I was hoping someone had some experience with it to see how well it worked for the G9. |

![]() dont know if i want to spend the cash on a 72c, because eventually it will get a big block and a 1190. For right now i would like try and mod the stock centrifugal clutch. I was thinking of adding some super light springs or lightning the weights. I just don't understand the differences between the two.
