![]() I got super lucky and was able to return my 3 12 volt batteries at 90% of cost and upgraded to a single 36 volt. Even before swapping out the batteries, we were starting to have an issue with the reverse that when pressing the pedal nothing would happen. You can hear the solenoid click, but no motion. I'm not sure if it's the solenoid or the F/R switch. No issues with going forward at the moment. Pics attached for all pieces. I'm not positive how to test the solenoid to confirm if that's the real issue as well.
Thanks all! |

![]() When you put it in reverse, does the buzzer turn on. That would confirm the switch is ok.

![]() You are correct, the buzzer does go off when the switch is changed to reverse. So it would make the most sense that the solenoid is not passing enough voltage between the posts when the switch is on the reverse side?

![]() Most likely cause is a faulty F/R switch.

![]() Controller and solenoid don’t know the difference between forward and reverse. If forward is working but not reverse it points to the FNR switch

![]() The buzzer working doesn't mean anything. It's the high current part of the F/R switch that fails. Sometimes it can be cleaned and made to work again but you have to disassemble it to do that.

![]() Could her test it by swapping forward and reverse wires, so forward would actually be going in reverse?
