Default TXT Elite 48v low range

Hi there

I just picked up a 48v TXT elite 2.0 (60ah)

On full charge I am reading around 55.5v. After 10 miles (flat paved terrain) I am down to 51.2v. Lifted cart, 22” tires, 4 people. The cart does around 23mph, so it’s definitely been tuned.

If I’m reading the voltage charts right, the range on this cart is around 13 miles, which seems low. Does that seem right?

With the mods and the weight you have on the cart the range sounds correct for a 61ah battery.

Factory lithium carts will simply shut off at 0% SOC. If you can plan for an abrupt end to your trip, you could test absolute range.

Do you think if I have the dealer remove the tune on it the range would go up? Thanks for the help!

Not likely enough to make you happy. The lift and large tires followed by the weight of the amount of people in the cart contribute to the lower range more than anything.
