Default Curtis 1314 programmer throttle sensitivity

I have been tuning my cart successfully with the instructions from this thread.

https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=189832

I have set the top speed to the max which with my tires is 28mph and have also enabled aggressive acceleration which I really enjoy.

My issue is with the aggressive acceleration settings the throttle response at lower speeds is unmanageable. The cart gives passengers whiplash with 1/4 throttle inputs at lower speeds. I have done a lot of tweaking in the throttle settings and haven't found a good compromise that won't limit the acceleration capabilities.

There is a section that appears to allow further tuning under "fine tuning" however it's locked out.

I'm looking for suggestions for reducing throttle sensitivity at part throttle without reducing overall output when the throttle is fully pressed.

Thanks in advance.

Try reducing the forward map value, you might need to power cycle after changing it.

Thanks for your response. I've actually played around with that setting and found it to help a lot, however setting it below the max value seems to reduce the top speed. Perhaps I need to do some more playing around with the map vs deadband settings.
