not always starting?
Hi! First time on site,hope you can help? Just bought first gas cart it is a 94 don't know much about it yet, but it doesn't start everytime I the checked wire connections there okay?Any ideas? Thanks!

When you say 'doesn't start everytime', do you mean that the engine
doesn't turn over, or it does turn over but does not crank? |

Welcome....make sure the starter belt is 'real tight'....they tend to slip...even if new they will slip. Bill |

if its turning over its cranking right? or are you just hearing a squealing sound? if so tighten belt...........................

If the starter motor is turning the engine well, but it just won't start everytime, check these things..................
Check the air filter box to see if it is sealing and make sure it has the correct air filter in it. Try easing down the accelerator very slowly to see if it starts. The valves may need to be set if it is the 4 cycle engine. |

check for spark. also fuel. need to know if youhave those before you can tell what is wrong

I tried everything you guys said,Thanks! But it seems that I only have spark sometimes ,just changed ingniter wasn't that? Which way now?????
