engine starts when key tuned on
Hello, first time user. I have 92 marathon, my daughter was driving and large stick got caught in belt of starter/generator. When I removed stick I noted that engine compartment had got hot enough to melt choke cable, completely! Anyway, now when i turn key to "on" position the engine starts, without pushing gas pedal. Also, only "starts" or does this in reverse, like will not engage into forward, do I just adjust cable?? Summers here and dads gotta get fixed! Thanks alot
