crank seals - won't start
Will not start, but turns over.
How could i test the crank seals? I have a 1983 gas ezgo with new carb, new fuel pump (not squirting well), new spark plug, and new 540 cca 12v battery. I also have the old stock coil and plug wire. Muffler is detached. Fuel is Tru-fuel mixed at 128:1 gravity fed to fuel pump. |

A new fuel pump not squirting good, pretty much says bad crank seals.

Re: crank seals - won't start
Update: I pulled the engine and replaced the seals. While removing the clutch, I messed up the clutch threaded hole and can't get the bolt back in. I tried tapping the hole but couldn't get it right. So it looks like I'm going to have to take it to a machine shop and get them to tap it again and get a larger bolt.
