Default no start - fuel issue

I have a 2008 club car precedent with a gas engine. I started it today after sitting in storage since November. It ran ok in maintenance mode. I backed it out of my building and it started to stutter. When I let off the gas to put it in forward it would not start back up. It cranks fine but seems to not be getting any fuel. I tried it in maintenance mode also. I thought I was flooding it so I removed the plug and it was bone dry. I took off the fuel lines to see if they were stopped up and they were ok. I'm not sure where to go from here. How do I check the fuel pump? What is the line coming from the crankcase? When I checked fuel lines it emptied the fuel filter and after that I could not see any fuel entering the filter. What should I check next and how?

1: Do you have gas in the tank? 2: Is petcock open? 3: The line from crankcase runs pump (check for cracks etc,) 3: Fuel filter(s) clogged. 4: Did you leave fuel in it from last year without stabilizer? 5: Pickup tube in tank could be clogged.

1. full tank
2. yes petcock is open.
3. No visible cracks
4. Full tank with Stabil
5. Can easily blow air through filter back into the tank.

I'm leaning toward fuel pump but can I check it some way before buying one?

Check your oil level, if it's overfull, it may heed the operation of the fuel pump.

The hose from the fuel pump going to the crankcase is a "pulse" line, it has a light push/pull vacuum to operate the fuel pump.
IF... it has a dip in the line, (kinda like a P trap on a sink) oil may be trapped in it, and the fuel pump won't operate,
you CAN disconnect it from the pump and blow into it to make sure it's clear,
BUT... do NOT crank it over with the pulse line disconnected from the pump! (oil may shoot out)

If all that's good, disconnect the fuel line from the carb,
and using a can, or a glass jar, crank it over to see if the pump is pumping fuel,
(fuel won't "squirt out"... it's more of a dribble), if you get fuel from the pump that way, then your carb might need cleaning!

Pull the carb, open the float bowl. Empty whatever you find in there and clean the bowl, the needle valve & the main jet. My bet is the needle valve is stuck & gunked up. You burned off what fuel was sitting in the float bowl, but the needle valve isn't letting it refill.

I had the same issue. Used some carb cleaner and worked like a champ.

I'm not slamming or endorsing any product, just saying that by the OP's description the needle valve is stuck.
