Default Whats going on in this pic?

This is one of 2 inline fuel filters, what's with the white goo looking stuff? Anyone seen this before?

I don't know what that is, but by the color it looks like something is melting the inside of your tank. Or the filter?

I should mention that this is the same in both filters, I was thinking maybe some type of adhesive used to put the thing together, I think I'll just dump the rest (ordered 24) This is the second set the first 2 I installed backwards (didn't see the flow arrow) but the first two did not look like this when I replaced them

Made in china filters? I bought 2 sediment bowls for g series honda engines, softened and fell off the engine in just over a week! Never got my money back but finally got the Ebay seller blackballed. Hope your supplier treats you better!

I don't know what the goo is, but that aint right!
I wouldn't suspect the filters, because it looks like they're doing their job!

What adhesives were used where?
