Default Eride truck

Well I guess this is the best place to put this since it seems very close to a club car set up I have had in the past minus that it is 72volts. Bought the little truck and it was doing great. Went to pull it out of my garage yesterday and it was surging bad. Left it for a while and came back to see what it would do. Nothing, absolutely nothing. All that happens is a slight buzz from what seems to be the motor. So, what’s next? What do I check? Battery pack is good(reading 78volts). Thanks for the help

How about the Year of it?
What controller is on it? Brand and model number?
Have you made sure all of the battery terminals and cables are clean and tight?
Motor studs and cables are clean and tight?
Is it Series drive or Sepex? If it has a big FnR lever are the cables on the back tight? Are the contacts in the lever clean?

Default Eride truck

2008 exv2. Sepex controller. Cables are tight all around. I have tested the solenoid since it does not click, solenoid tested ok but I’m not getting voltage to it. It does not have the big f&r switch. It has the oic attached. Anyone know how to jump it to test it?

Here are testing flow charts that should help identify the issue.

How about a picture or two of your ride. I've never seen one of these.

My plan is to paint it up and make it look like a little battery humvee. I moved the solar panel to the roof because I did not like the look of it on the hood. Also, I found that my controller wasn’t sending 12 volts to my throttle sensor. I’m not really looking to spend 1k right now on a controller so I “added” 12 volts from the converter already on the rig and made it work. But I’m pretty sure my throttle position sensor on the pedal is bad since it is all or nothing. Just need to do some more testing since I have been out of town. They use the same sensor as some of the big Mack and international trucks, haha go figure

Do you see a part number on the TPS?
Alot of automotive style TPS are designed to work on 5v. What voltage was your controller sending to it?

That thing would look sweet painted up like a military Humvee with some knobby mud tires! Kinda looks like it could use some helper springs in the back too.
