Hey Man,
My motor is working out fine. I had to put a stronger "return" spring on the throttle arm to help lower the idle but now its fine. It seemed like if you just eased around it would load up to a high idle...once you ran at full throttle for a second it would idle right.
Hope you get your belt worked out and get that thing ready to ride.

Bryan

Picked up the belt yesterday. Hopefully going to be able to work on it this weekend.

Thanks for the advice on the idle spring Bryan. I'm sure once I get this thing all together, I'm going to need to tinker

Shmitty, i'm wondering how this is working out? Was the engine rotation the same as original?

Scotty,

It's a 1995 so I'm hoping it turns the right way.

I'm hoping to be done with it this week. I'll keep everyone posted once it's running!

Scottyb I'm ten times worse than you right now!

I'm hoping to get it done this week. I think I keep saying that week after week.

I'm not sure that is possible.....
I'm talking with a company that says it can put a flywheel side shaft on a honda twin...I'll let ya'll know if this works out.

Hey I was just wondering how you ended up with the gas tank issue. Did running a fuel pump and the stock tank work?

Thanks
