My 13hp engine update

The Comet clutch I ordered just came so after lunch I am going to install the engine and take it for a test run.

What should I do as far as the break in period? I am using diesel oil in it. Is there anything else I should or shouldn't do?

Vary the speed often, don't keep it at one constant RPM, get it warm before you "try it out," I would put a little Marvel Mystery Oil in the first tank of gas, good top end lube. If it were me, I wouldn't run it too hard for the first few hours, then run it like you stole it.

I usually just let engines run normal for a few hours and then change the oil: 10w30 (breakin and normal use).
