Default Towing with roof on cart

On a trailer behind the truck. Is this ok? Is there a max speed I should be concerned with? CC precedent. Just don't want the thing tearing off at 70mph or bending something.

Thanks,
Scott

Thanks for the reply, seriously. So what speeds are you talking about? Is 70 too much in your opinion? We are leaving in the morning and I just don't want an expensive mistake.

I think you should be ok with the speed I'd just take a couple of ratchet straps and put them over the roof as insurance. I have heard alot of ppl here towing at interstate speed with no problems. I towed my cart at 60 mph with no problems on windy rural roads but have not tried interstate yet

I tow my cart at 70, and was never concerned the least bit about the roof! It's the windshield, and seat I worry about!
I either fold down or remove my windshield, and I bungy cord the seat down! (just in case!)

Thanks guys. Good call on the seat. Didn't think of that. Windshield is down and secured, just have to bungee seat now. Thanks again, have a great weekend.

Golf cart rental places transport golf carts with tops all the time via highways. If it's good enough for them it's good enough for us!

I'm with LOCKMAN.
How ever I did put larger washers on the roof mounting bolts.
