Noise from rear end
96 Yamaha G16E I bought it used , at a yard sale with no batteries. It's my first cart so I'm not very savy on carts but I am mechanically inclined. I put new batteries in and it runs perfect but anytime you accelerate forward or reverse it makes a noise that sounds like brake shoes do when their worn out and rubbing metal to metal. So I jacked it up and spun the wheels by hand and it was quiet as a mouse but when I used the accellerator pedal to make the wheels turn the noise was very loud. So I feel it must be a bearing directly related to the electric motor. I put new gear oil in differential but it didn't help. I don't know what to do or check from this point THANKS FOR ANY IN PUT Sorry for the long post just wanted to give you the details.

Re: Noise from rear end
If fresh oil did nothing, it may have a bad motor armature bearing, and surely needs grease on the motor coupler.
