1999 EZGO issues
I have a 1999 36V EZGO Freedom. The cart died one day and I thought it was the batteries finally giving up. I replaced all batteries and connecting cables.
It will not go in forward or reverse when the throttle is pressed. The backup alarm works and I tested the load of the batteries, solenoid, motor, controller and am getting 37v (fully charged). When the gas pedal is pressed there is no draw from the load. I also replaced the solenoid when the new batteries didn't work. The day that it died after towing I cleaned up the batteries and it moved slowly. I still decided to replace batteries. Now I can't get it to do anything. Is there a reset switch? It seems that the throttle is not communicating with the controller to move the cart. The controller does not have any LED lights to indicate issues. All fuses are good. Any ideas? |

Re: 1999 EZGO issues
It could be the sensor under the floor, it could even be the F/R switch. No reset switch, the cart does not have a run/tow switch
