Default 400Amp controller...solenoid too?

Well the time has come to order a controller. 12MPH is getting old pretty quick. i have read some places that i should do the solenoid too.

the cart is a G22 with GE motor and controller.

also, has anyone tweeked the their Alltrax settings? i am annoyed at how (stock) controller's throttle curve/ramp up. I think i'd rather have more of a liner application like a car.

The XCT control fits your cart.
It has the most programmable throttle & torque map yet.

Personally, I find most people enjoy a sweeping vertical curve that gains speed exponentially.
The diminished bottom end allows for safe tight places operation and softer starts.

If you go with a controller larger than 300a (roughly stock replacement), 4gauge cables everywhere except the "field" wires, theyre fine. The stock solenoid is actually already HD, but it has a million cycles on it already, so a new one is a good idea.

Already did the wires.

I was wondering about replacing it as a wear item. I hadn't actually looked at the price but now that I did i think I will replace, they not a high $.

The plan is to go with a 400amp controller.

I wanted to have the option of trying another throttle curve but not committing to it...you maybe correct about the sweeping curve
