Better headlights for YDRE?
Does anyone here know if there are any better (brighter) headlights available that fit the YDRE Drive front light enclosures? My stock ones are just not bright enough to see well at night.

Do you have the dune buggy/tear drop looking ones?

The lights themselves are round but the plastic housings are funny shaped.

Re: Better headlights for YDRE?
I've done a little research on this before because I have the same ones, and wanted to get a brighter light with out having to replace the whole thing. I believe the bulb to be a H3....And Sylvania makes a bright white H3 bulb that I was going to try. I've seen led's but so far I've only seen where you have to buy the light assembly.

I was hoping to find someone with some hands on experience with this. I am too busy with other stuff to fool with this right now.

Re: Better headlights for YDRE?
That looks like a very reasonable solution to my brightness problem! Did you also purchase the wiring harness?

Re: Better headlights for YDRE?
No wiring harness, I just cut the negative and positive that went to one of the headlights and used that for power.
I unhooked the grounds on the stock headlights because I didnt like how the headlights and light bar looked together. |
