Default Please help me troubleshoot my 2007 Drive

Here's the story. Bought a stock 07 Drive from a buddy two years ago and wanted more speed so I did the Plum Quick Bandit upgrade and it took the cart to 17mph. In March 2015 when the Alltrax XCT controller came out, I bought the 300 amp and it to me to 22-23mph. Had a few programming issues but Alltax Tech Support worked me through it. About six months ago, the cart would be cruising along, the solenoid would click and power lost. I had to come to a complete stop and wait until the solenoid clicked and it would take off. It did this quite often and then sometimes when you would take off, it would immediatly lose power and I had to wait until solenoid clicked and would take off. I called a Yamaha dealer and they said it was the pedal switch. I replaced it, and some of the lost power issues have gone away, but not all. Everytime you put the cart in reverse, you have to wait for the solenoid to click before it wil move. This take 3-5 seconds and when you put in forward you get the same delay until you hear the solenoid click. Sometimes when cruising it will click and lose power again, but not doing it near as often as before I replaced the pedal switch.

The solenoid is the original from Yamaha. Do you think it's the problem? I don't remember the delays when it was just a stock controller.

Sorry for the long post, but this cart is driving me crazy and I'm looking for help.

The solenoid is controlled by the controller. Might call "tech", they may want you take a "map". This is done by installing your lap top and cable to the controller while driving the car. Then they can read the "map" for a diagnoses.
