Boy... if that isn't the truth Tom...

There are more people at my campground, that "pump" the throttle, AND the choke,
(like it's a 68 Olds Delta 88 ) I get on... hold the choke, throttle at 1/2,
and it'll start...(after it clears the flooded cylinder from the previous tries)

sometimes my cart dies right at the compression stroke, I just roll back the clutch by hand to give some spinning room an it starts right up

Beamcowboy , that sounds like a weak starter , not enough volts, bsd brushes ...etc.
