Hey bbm, can you make a spacer for my driven cc clutch to fit an 1 3/16 wide belt?

Theres a little more to it than just a spacer. The clutch has to be modified to open farther to make up for the spacer. Otherwise you loose alot of performance. But yes we can do it.

You also have to realize the procees is different depending on what brand cart you have. Some brands we machine drive clutch some driven clutch and some both clutches.
It would be great if we could add 10 mph and the ability to pull a 40 foot cabin cruiser but with roughly 10 HP to start with its tough to do both. I hope this clears things up a little LOL
Thanks Tom, This clears up some of the confusion about what is the best way to go .... It depends on the brand
So what is Don going to do for the CC?

Well i bought a drive clutch from a member on this forum and it took me from 32 to 41 so i guess the clutch was for speed... i just want more low end grunt and was thinking that a machined rear clutch with power spring would meet my needs, untill i saw that post from "wass"... the motor is moved all the way forward, so could i move it back a bit to give the belt some more slack to allow the drive clutch to close fully?
