Default Club Cart Carochee 1978 Brakes

Hello,
I recently purchased a 1978 Carochee Club Car golf cart. I am unable to engage the brakes? Any suggestions on possible solutions?
Thank you.
John

Welcome. What's wrong with them? Has the cart been sitting long?

The Most common issue was the parking brake getting stuck on the shaft. If that is the case then you can loosen everything up (parking brake cable) as the brakes do require brake fluid. Spray some PB blaster at the pivot points and start to work the pedals to get them to loosen up. Change out the brake fluid for sure, most of the time it doesn't get changed and looks like mud.
