Club Car Shift Knob Removal
Having a hard time removing the gear shift knob on my 03 gas club. Feel like I'm about to break it. Any suggestions?
Thanks |

Re: Club Car Shift Knob Removal
Welcome to BGW BCJ!
Here's a silly question.... You did remove the phillips screw that holds the shifter handle on, right? ------------------------------------------------------------------- If you did... leave the 3 screws and nuts on, (that holds the whole unit on the body,) use a thin piece of wood on the body, (I used a door shim) with a large flat bladed screwdriver, and gently pry it where the shaft comes through the body, Working a little at the top, then the bottom of the shaft, under the shifter handle! It should slide off! I did this with my '07... because, I put one of these on! |
