Default Model year for maintenance

Wondering..................actual manu. date is 10/05........delivered in 06................is this considered an 05 or 06 cart?
Have a Manual on order but wondering if I can use the guidelines (lube, etc.) listed here, (for up to 05 carts) for this/these carts?

Or, are specs, lube, etc. the same for 05 and 06 carts?

I'm not sure if golf carts follow the same pattern as autos Wally, but if they do, anything manufactured after August would be considered the next years model. On a car for example, the date sticker would show (in your case) October of 05 but the title would declare it to be an 06 model. Of course though, that wouldn't prevent the manufacturer from making changes in mid-stream model year which is often a cause of confusion in my repair shop

IVS is correct!
Manufacturing for the next model year for Club Car, starts in August of the previous year!
So, your serial number "should" show something like AG0610-xxxxxx
AG = DS gas
06 = year
10 = week of manufacture

As for maintenance, oil, filters, quantities etc... for the FE290 and the FE350, have been the same for years!

You should be good to go!
