Default 1999 club car gas cart acceleration problems

When starting from a stop sometimes I have to keep pumping the accelerator to get the golf cart to move. The problem is just when accelerating from a stop at higher speeds it works better.

Is your starter belt slipping?

It could be a bad micro switch or the belt slipping?

Yes the belt is slipping. Will tightening it up cure my problem?

Yes, it does rev up, but does have that hesitation.
