Default 84 gas rear shocks

I have replaced the rear springs on my 84 ds gas cart, I put in the heavy duty 4 leaf ones (part # 1014675). These have raised the back of the cart a few inches and now my shocks are to short to connect back up. Is there a different size shock to use or should I just add an extender on the existing shocks?

Thanks

1976 chevette shocks work. To be honest with the 4 leafs you'll never get into the shocks. I've tried but was a cosmetic
issue that was driving me crazy.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if I would need them or not. The old shocks are totally gone, and so was the orig leaf spring.
