puller is not needed
1st snap the center cover off
2nd take the 17mm not off just about all the way (leaving the nut
the shaft some)
3rd sit in the cart plant your feet on the floor one on each side of pedals

4th grab the wheel and wiggle an pull at the same time it will pop
5th remove the nut the rest of the way and take it off

or take a rubber hammer and hit the underside of the wheel. it will also loosen the wheel. After you loosen the nut.

I cannot believe that noone has designed a better way to mount a steering wheel. MINE WILL NOT BUDGE, and it is driving me crazy. I have done all things prescribed, and nothing.

The method mention about planting feet and "wiggle" it always works for me...but while you are pulling on the wheel have someone tap the nut that is tightened to flush with the steering post in the center with a hammer...do nut slam on it and warp the nut but one good tap always breaks a tough one loose while pulling the wheel for me if I'm struggling.
