help in year identification

New to the forum and have been impressed in how knowledgeable you guys are on these carts.

I recently received an older cart from my dad but it doesn’t have a serial number tag on it to check years. He says it’s an 89 but the body looks like the 76-87 vintage. The reason I ask is from another post it said that in 89, motors went to the 3pg with horizontal muffler which is how mine is laid out but the body doesn’t match since I thing in 88 they switched to the bumpers , maybe the person he got it from may have done an engine swap or muffler swap? Just looking for some insight for when I need to order parts.

It looks like the 87 the motor is a robin 2pg

2 PG as another way to tell is that the clutches run parallel to the rear axle.
Funny on the horizontal muffler as I see it. poss. they did that for a short time but have not heard a single mention from anyone on the forum that I know of for a horizontal muffler on a 2PG?

I have an 87 and the front nose is shorter than yours with the plastic nose cap. A friend of mine has an 84 or 85 and it has a nose more similar to yours
