Default 94 marathon doesn't go near fast enough in my mind

I have a 94 ezgo marathon with newer batteries, 2g wire kit, and nothing else done to it. Its lifted 6" with larger tires. It only goes 10 mph on the road and it gets really slow on anything other than road. It still works for a good run time but its just really slow to me. Is there anything I can look at to repair to make it better before I start dumping money into upgrades that will take forever to save for? TIA!

the true answer to your question....is a simple NO. for starters the fact that your drive system is stock and you have larger tires and a lift is taxing it and has actually made it a tad slower.
