![]() I just cleaned my carb but am needing help adjusting, its on a 1995 cc. Is there a standard way of adjusting the screws and what screws do what? Any help would be appreciated!

![]() The air/fuel mix screw is the one closest to the engine going in at a steeper angle than the rest. I generally turn it slowly inward until I hear a noticeable change in engine sound (keep it running at about 1/2 throttle), then count the turns outward until I hear another noticeable change in sound. Then I turn it back in half of those turns and "meet it in the middle."
I gave up adjusting carburetors to spec a long time ago and this provides great results each time I do it. ![]() |

![]() Something tells me that he pulled the needle screw out to clean it.... Where would the starting point be???
Seat the needle screw lightly, and turn 2 full turns out??? (Old Holley Carb Instructions) Then... follow your instructions from there? (for my future reference also!) |
