Default controller update

I am being told to update my toasted curtis 1204 001 275 amp. With a larger 375 or higher, is this safe, will i gain speed?

Default Re: controller update

You may gain a little speed but mostly you will gain torque. Torque enough to push bigger tires that will give you more speed
