G9AK-Runs Rough at max speed
I finally have my fixer upper running. When I have it floored I think it is not running smooth. I have done the following.
New battery. New spark plug. Oil change. Sprayed carburator cleaner about 5 times. Also have carburator cleaner in gas. When I bought it it wouldn't run. Any suggestions. I also think it is louder then it should be. Some of that seems to be rattles which I am working on. |

Could be the clutch making noise. You should take the carb off, take the bowl off and spray up all the passages at minimum to clean it. Make sure the airbox is sealed well or it will not run very good without changing the jetting.
