Default 02 TXT 12" Wheel Question

Can anyone tell me how much a set of 12" Wheels will add to the length of the cart compared to the stock 8" wheels and tires? Looking at 215or 205/30 tires on the wheels. My Garage in my toy hauler is only so deep so I am concerned on how much length is added by going to those wheels and tires.

Wow no response. Can anyone just tell me or do you have a side profile pic of your cart with stock wheels and then aftermarket?

Is this a trick question?

Tire/Rim size shouldn't change the length of the cart more then a few inches unless you went with 40" Big Foot tires.

I did not think that based off of offset and also stock 8" wheel and tire would be the same as a 12" 215/30 wheel tire combo. Looking at carts and pics it looks sometimes that the wheels stick further out front than the stockers. I am just wondering how much.

The stock wheels are 18" in diameter, so from the center of the hub, they extend forward 9". The 215/30/12 tire is 17" in diameter. They will actually extend forward only 8.5" from the center of the hub, so the overall length is less. For comparison, a 20" tire will extend forward 10" from the center of the hub, so they add 1" beyond the stock length.

This is all based on the hubs not being relocated by a lift kit.

it all depends on what wheels you get. you can get the wheels in many offsets. different offsets will effect the width (side to side) of the cart, not necessarly the length (front to back).
