92 Club Car GAS Igniter location
My service manual for the 95-96 DS GAS shows a small igniter Part #1016491.
However I don't see this item located on my 1992 DS GAS and I don't have a 92 manual.. Where is the igniter located on the 1992? |

Check the Sticky up top here. Should find it there, but I belive it is located behind the flywheel.

If you look down the front of the engine and see the oil drain plug then straight up above that maybe 3 or 4 inches there is a black box bolted to the crankcase. This black box is the rev limiter, take it off and the igniter is attached to the back side of it. By the way you can buy the igniter for a Kawasaki mule off ebay for I think less than 20 dollars. It's the same part. Just cost more when you call it a golf cart part.
