Did the test with key off brake locked starting in n flip from n to r 5 times ending in n and it made zero noise of any kind.

Ok well I just went to move it and now it’s beeping 3 times with a pause followed by 2 beeps.

Ezgo TXT fault code 3-2 / the solenoid is welded.

I’m not arguing with you at all I’m sure that is what the code is but how could that be? If it was welded it wouldn’t turn off correctly rite? And I don’t see how that would limit the travel speed to 5 mph?

Stock solenoid is a white rogers 70 amp 36 volt. If it senses the solenoid closed it will go into limp mode. Try taking a screw driver handle and wrapping the side of the solenoid to see if it releases. To validate it is bad put it in tow, disconnect the pack negative and positive, mark them first, disconnect one of the main wires on the solenoid and check for continuity across the 2 large posts. If there it’s bad. If it is bad replace it with something bigger if you ever plan on upgrades.

Ok that makes sense. Thanks for the info I will test it tomorrow morning to verify it is toast and will order a replacement. And I will report back.

Checked the solenoid today and it test out fine. No continuity through the load posts.

i replaced the solenoid this morning and it is still only goes 5 mph. still giving the same code. 3 beeps then 2 beeps. anyone have any ideas?
