Default v glide

just put a new wiper arm and a brush on my v glide. not sure if it needs adjusting, but it doesnt go all the way up with the pedal all the way down. it does hit the microswitch on the low position, (im assuming that breaks the connection and kills the speed) but for max speed/power should it be hitting all the way up on the connections?

Yes, at full throttle the wiper arm plate should contact the last plate only.

There should be a rod between the pedal and vglide. the rod snaps off the balls it's mounted on. Remove 1 end , loosen nut and screw rod end out a turn
or 2. Check fit, when you like it ,tighten locknut and snap back into place.

ok, ive adjusted the brush (thanks by the way for the easy adjust info!!!) and it now goes all the way up. the one picture shows it centered on the last contact, which is my question. does it matter that its centered like in the picture or can it just go all the way up like in the other one, and still be ok. thank!

The one centered gives the most contact, which is best.
