Default Convert a TXT 1997 36 v to 48 v

Last fall I purchased a D&D motor Systems rebuild kit Including;
*
170-505-0001 (505-1) motor
400 Amp-DCS-5051-S Regen Controller
500 Amp* - 36/48 V Solenoid Kit
EZ-GO 360Volt – DCS/PDS Wire Kit

The rebuild has been successful (after a few calls to D & D and Alltrax). Runs great. Standard tires and no lift kit.

What do I need to convert from 36 volts to 48 volts?

6 - 6 v Batteries were new, when rebuild was completed in June.

2 more 6v batteries & a plan on a place to put them. (Bagwell is a popular choice) or 6x T-875 batteries.
A few cables to connect your new batteries.
48v battery charger.

That's what I was hoping for.

I'll have to search for a battery configuration if I just add two mile 6 v batteries.

Thanks

400 Amp-DCS-5051-S Regen Controller Is this an Alltrax XCT48400-PDS controller?
500 Amp* - 36/48 V Solenoid Kit
EZ-GO 360Volt – DCS/PDS Wire Kit Is this a 10 piece set of high current (battery) cables that are 4Ga or thicker, or is it a control wiring harness?

If the controller and solenoid you've got will operate at 48V, than you need two more 6V batteries, plus three or four high current cables to connect the two additional batteries along with the existing six into a 48V pack, and you'll need a 48V charger.

Or you might be able top sell or swap your six-month old 6V batteries and buy six 8V batteries, which will fit under the seat, but may need longer cables since both terminals are on same side of 8V batteries.

Where are you whiting101? I'll buy your old batteries if you are near me.

The controller is an Alltrax XCT48400.

Wiring kit was for the battery connection cables. Other wires in the control system are stock.

All of the cables need to be upgraded to at least 4Ga. Total of ten cables for a DCS or PDS. Need the two to the A1 & A2 terminals on the motor and the sorts one between solenoid and controller. (The stock F1/F2 cables are okay if the insulation isn't worn and the connectors are in good health.)
