Default 06 ezgo series problem

Have a 2006 ezgo series cart. 2019 trojan batteries so voltage is no problem. Real hard time taking off from start on a slight hill. Real slow and shutters a little. No problem with same hill if I get a rolling start. Any ideas what to check?

The batteries being new doesn't absolutely mean they are all good. Run the charger till it shuts off on its own, let sit 12 hours off the charger, check voltages and get back to us with what you find. Verify with a volt meter, each battery & the pack as a whole. The "shutters a little" suggests it may very well be a voltage problem. There could still be issues with the cables or connections but until we're SURE about the state of the batteries the rest is hard to judge.

Assuming it is a 36V system, Trojan makes seven grades of 6V batteries, which model?

What make/model charger?

Figured I’d let you know what the problem with it was. I had 38.2 12 hrs after charger went off. Reverse worked great going up a hill from stop but forward didn’t. Started checking connections and found the fnr to be in need of cleaning. Cleaned and now runs fine. Thanks for input. Turned out to be voltage because of connections.
