Brake Light Wiring
I have a 2005 Club Car DS. The existinng tail lights have red, black, and white wires leading to them. I am assuming that they will have to be replaced to install a brake light kit? Is that correct? Thanks!

Re: Brake Light Wiring
You dont need to change your tail lights as you have a ground wire ( usually black ) a tail light wire ( white ) and a stop light wire ( Red )? If not use a jumper lead to find out which is stop light wire.

Re: Brake Light Wiring
Thanks MEC. Worked like a charm. In my particular case, the hot brake wire was white.
