Default 99 Club Car DS won't go.

I replaced the batteries and everything seemed to be fine for a couple of weeks, but then sometimes it wouldn't respond to the peddle after stopping. After waiting for 30 minutes or so it may take off or it may not. It did that for a few days and now i can't get it to do anything. Where do I need to start? All the connections and the batteries are good, getting 36 volts out of the battery pack. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the solenoid is taking a dump. I would check (with the cart on jack stands)
and make sure power is passing threw the solenoid. If you are not hearing a click when you mash the gas pedal then I would start checking you activation circuit. IE he micro switches(They sometimes stick)

Ok thanks. I can hear the micro switch that is inside the cover with the speed switch click but that's it.

Micro switches are just like the solenoid.....just because you hear a click doesn't mean they are operating correctly...A DVM is your best friend with an electric cart

Download a copy of the below parts manual and start by looking at page 13-4, the wiring setup for a 36v resistor cart . . it may help you trace your problem . . you may want to jack up vehicle and jump the solenoid to see if power is delivered to motor when go pedal is depressed . . . that may tell you if solenoid is defective . .
