Does this get hot?
I ran some wires for my rear lights and zip tied them over the resistor shield. Does the shield get hot?
Also, the electric motor has caked on mud. Dare I wash it off? |

Re: Does this get hot?
Quite hot, the resistors are simply heating elements that use up some of the battery power, thus slowing the motor speed down. The wires will fry the next time you do some slow running of the cart. You will SMELL them.
