Default testing contactors 2008 Par Car

2008 Par Summit ran fine prior to my online purchase (according to 2 different sources) hauled to Pa and DOA. Someone told me today that if the key was left on the contractors would weld together. I read somewhere else about this but now its making more sense. Someone left the key on at the auction.

So can anyone tell me how to test the contactors or should this be left to Bortek Industries down the road at $150/hr?. Tried to get the hood off and that seems to be a challenge.

Dying to drive this little buggy... thanks.

Peggy

contactor won'tr weld together if left on, because after 20 seconds of inactivity it releases until the epedal is pressed again.

Are batteries fully charged?

Here's how to remove the hood.

Thanks, we were close. will try again. Charged the batteries for 2 days, the horn works, left turn signals, backup alarm, and back lights.

when you turn on the key (with charger unplugged), you should get a green status LED on. It should stay on. If it blinks, count the flashes for me. If it doesn't come on at all, you may have a blown fuse.

Four flash can be the contactor. Easy enough to test it, it's mounted at the rear axle nesxt to the controller, no need to remove hood.

The coil part itself is about 50 ohms.

Four flash can also be a stuck brush in the motor.

There are only turn signal green lights no led. now the controller isnt flashing. It's inside now and we're charging the battery again.
