Default 1998 TXT Solenoid Clicks but will not go!

This is Series/Fleet cart, new 36 volt batteries and cables. Lifted with 22 inch tires.
I have been driving it around the neighborhood with no problems but it wasn't until I tried to drive up a steep incline the cart came to a stop I keep pedal pressed for a few more seconds then let off. I attempted again to go up but halfway up the cart stopped.
No electrical arcing sound or smell, no noise whatsoever.

So I came here downloaded the ezgo manual and started troubleshooting...

Step 1-37.66 V
Step 2- 37.66 V
step 3- 37.57
step 4- 37.57
step 5- 27.79 solenoid disengaged/37.57 engaged
step 6- yes
step 22-37.45
step 23- 14.29
step 24 .575

Solenoid did not have a resistor!!

So that means at step 3 I should have stopped and installed a resistor.

So I kept going just to see and even the ITS readings where off which lead to REPLACE CONTROLLER

I have no plans to do any upgrades I just it to run again.

Thanks

Im to the point where it says replace the controller

I bypassed the speed control and the motor does indeed work.
So im left with the controller, also did the diagnostic ezgo solid state controller

The its test fine but the controller output M - and B+ does not slowly increase to battery voltage.

And something is rolling around inside the speed control, probably some electronic component or solder.

obviously you need to see what is broke in the throttle......seeing as how its not working. I am guessing that the roller on the micro switch is broken off.

AND you need to get the resistor on the solenoid.....make sure its installed in the right direction.

well take the lid off and find out what it is......take a pic and post it if you don't know what it is.....or even take a pic with the lid off before you take anything apart.

Resistors are non-directional.

If it turns out to be a bad controller, I have a stock 1998 TXT series controller I could sell you. I also have a 36 volt HD solenoid.
