Yamaha G16 Won't Start
Hey there,
I have a 2000 Yamaha G16 that won't start. When I push down on the gas pedal there is nothing. I have checked the solenoid its good. There is power to the key, accelerator switch, voltage regulator ans stop/start relay. I can jump the solenoid and the cart will start but the is no control over RPM when I do that. Could the Stop/start relay be NFG, or maybe bad wiring somewhere on the cart. Thanks for the help |

Try checking your accelerator microswitch. The switch might be bad or could have corroded connection points. (The microswitch sends power to energize the solenoid when accelerator is pressed). - Ray

The ends on the switch were corroded! thanks for the help!
