Sounds like a Starter/Generator. My G9 was doing the same thing after i cleaned and reconnected all connections and grounds. I got an Hitachi Starter/Generator NEW on Ebay for $90 and installed it today.....starts fast and runs great again. You can test your generator to see, but make sure your battery is good first and all your connections. Hope this helps
