what special tools
I'm going to change the side cover gasket on my 1992 G9 this winter. Its leaking by the dipstick. What special tools do I need for the job? I'm going to have the engine out so anything I should check for? Ive done a cold compression test and its at 150. I don't think its using any oil other than the leak. The oil was pretty milky when I got it. New oil and a few long rides took care of that.It doesn't seem to start as good as it did before I set the valves at .004. The valves were pretty tight. Air box needs some work and likely original filters. I just got this thing a few weeks ago. Trying to make a winter repair list. No real mods going to happen. Maybe try to paint it and put stiffer springs on back for rear seat. Kingpin bushings are shot. Bearings sound OK,but will just replace.

Re: what special tools
You will need a primary clutch puller unless your extremly lucky and it pops off by it's self.
