smoking bad
Hi Guys;
I just bought this 1998 Yamaha G11 utility from a friend it has the JN6 motor seems to run good but it smokes alot all the time , I drained oil and put in 10/30 synthetic also replaced spark plug with BPR2ES and no change I did a compression test on the engine cold and it was between 175 to 180 psi any ideas on what I need to do Thanks. |

Rings, oil control rings to be exact..... You did put in exactly 1 qt oil right?

Yes 1 qt 10-30. also when i replaced the old plug it was fouled with alot of black carbon and oil mix.
