Build it with the kids. It's a life lesson for them, patiences, pride in work. Have fun. You're not going to buy one as good as you can build it.
My avatar is a $600 saltwater flood cart. It was soaked to the seat.
Somehow steering rack, motor and rear end survived.
If your motor is in good shape, you can use it or send it to:https://www.plumquick.com/ for a rebuild. Or buy a new one.
The OBC is well sealed it probably survived.
Take it all the way down to the frame, flush all metal, replace all nuts and bolts with stainless.
Rip out the wiring harness and buy one from: https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/
Do not try to save any wiring.
Your MCOR is trashed, get a new one.
You may or may not need a motor, does the cart roll? Or don't worry bout it and upgrade motor.
Drain rear end oil, is there any water? I would do that now.
In your dash, did it get to the keyswitch? If so, replace.
Replace battery light with digital volt meter.
You are going to need at least:
batteries
wiring harness
controller
solenoind
4awg cable
mcor
Call David at: 706-836-7210, tell him what you have,he'll figure out what you need and he'll send you right stuff.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I really appreciate everyone’s input. Once we are settled back home, I’m going to go pick up the cart and rebuild it with the kids. Stay tuned.

Guess I will be calling Revolution Carts for some advice after reading this thread. No insurance coverage for flooded golf carts so hopefully can rebuild. Kids still drive the cart so need to figure some balance of make it fun but not too fast - anyone had success is just having motor dried out(local company bakes windings like would boat lift motor)?
I have not done anything to cart since flooded(now 2 weeks) due to being busy with everything else.

Is charger toast after being wet? I would assume so but welcome experience.

Words of advice for anyone facing possible flooding, make sure to flip switch to “tow” if you can’t get it away from flooding. Things were happening quick so didn’t flip switch until it started smelling- really scared me that cart might catch fire in my garage while flooding!

I recently rebuilt a EZgo Sport 2+2 from Harvey. Water went entirely over the roof. Was quite costly to rebuild. Plan on replacing all of the harnesses, lights and electronics, and hope the motor did not sit too long in the water.

Might need to rebuild the neighbors EZ-GO as well.
